I was watching NatGeo's World's Toughest Fixes program last night. It was an episode covering extreme heights. One of the jobs was repairing a wind turbine blade (dangling on a rope a few hundred feet in the air) & the guy was using a Rotex to sand down the gelcoat, apply fiberglass to fix a crack, sand it flush, and then paint & sand it smooth. I thought it was a neat application since they didn't have to lift multiple tools up in the air to get the job done. They did not show how they ran power to the sander
.
