Router Cabinet Construction Question

I'm building a router cabinet with plywood. I happened to get pre-finished ply for the same price as non-finished. I was planning on using dominos for the carcass. Now that the components are cut up I was wondering if the dominos will be enough since I will be loosing the edge adhesion with the glue.

Guess I could try to sand locally or use some pocket screws?

Looking for expert advice.

Thanks,

Mike

If it were my project I would use the pocket screws along with the dominos.  Quick, strong, and removable if you later decide to tweak - if you don't glue the dominos.

I used dominos and pocket screws with no glue.  5 years and going strong.  In fact mine was designed for pocket screws.  It was a design that Kreg used to promote before they started selling metal stand kits.

You're right about gluing prefinished.  I can scrape dried Titebond III off that factory finish with my finger nail.
