Router Stand to protect bits and bushings

I am working with my Leigh jig and using the new Leigh e-Bush Guide Bushings. I quickly noticed a bad habit of not setting down the router sideways to protect the bushing.

The solution is to come up with some sort of stand or holster where I could conveniently set the router down upright and fully protect not only bushings but bits.

So it would be helpful to learn how others might handle this in lieu of just remembering to set the router down without the bit or bushing exposed.

Bit of old beech worktop  . . . of course you still need to remember to put it on it!
