Sad news from Germany...

I'm kind of stumped what sad news? Your post needs a little more info..Oh just checked very sad there has been an attack with a vehicle at a Berlin Christmas Market. Condolences from here..

Sorry, I assumed in the information age the news would have filtered over to your side of the pond.

Truck "attack" in Berlin, Germany killed 9 people a few hours ago. No exact motive or particular group yet claiming responsibility, but German authorities claiming it is a deliberate act.

A lorry has driven into a crowd a t a Christmas Market in Berlin. Driver arrested, suspicions that it was hijacked. (As always early news reports should be treated with caution). Seems there have been 9 deaths.

I heard on the dutch news that the german police sad it was an attack off terrorism. My condolences

Another sad act where those enjoying themselves or celebrating are harmed or killed.  Horrible/

Peace on earth and ...

Peter

And for those over the pond who may not have heard, the Russian Ambassador in Turkey was shot and killed by an off duty policeman this afternoon as well. 2016 is not a good year.

Celebrate XMAS with festool green and red, and happy milad-un-nabi.
Angela will have some more work dealing with Neo types backlash.

Well said, but I'm sad to say this is the world we are living in.

This I horrible, it is the same method they used in Nizza. Until now, there are 12 death and many injured. It seems that Germany should become destabilized, but I don't know for what reason and who is behind this terrorism

Ultimately who is behind it?
There is generally one group that makes use of transport vehicles to crash into things.
Whether you blame them for doing that, or the good lord for the instruction to do so, determines a lot about where one believes that the blame should be placed.

I fear that a year from now we might be pining for the good old days of 2016. I hope that I am wrong on that.

In the last 20 minutes the BBC have reported that IS has claimed responsibility. No surprises there really.
