The title says it all. Remember even though you've done something for the last 10 years something wrong can happen to you. Yesterday we were cutting acrylic with our laser when some excess dust caught fire. Luckily my employee was on top of it and got another manager. If she would have lift the lid it would have fed the fire and flashed the room over in seconds. Luckily again we had a fully charged extinguisher next to the laser to break the glass and put the fire out instantly. Also a side note that acrylic burns at high temperatures. I've seen pictures of lasers that are puddles of metal on the floor after burning for 15 minutes.
