If you're looking for a friendly gift for yourself or a fellow woodworker, you might want to consider the Micro Jig GRR-Ripper. It is arguably the safest way to handle material while processing it on a table saws, CMS or other router tables, jointers, and bandsaws.

It gives the operator solid, omni-directional control over the work piece while acting as effectively a traveling blade guard.

If you're unfamiliar with this safety product, please take a little time to watch the videos on this page. They are pretty informative. What better present for a new CMS owner?

Do you have flash installed? Did you pick the link?

There are 4 flash videos right under the thumbnail picture.

I'm not an apple so I don't know the answer to this but can't you use some sort of flash app' in the browser?

I  have to say for anyone who likes their finger tips attached this is the tool to obtain.

Since losing my pinkie tip on my 5 hp Shaper Table I use them always. It has become second nature now to grab one whether on my shaper tables or my CMS, as I now have one by each machine.

I would strongly suggest this as an awesome Christmas Present even if given to onself.

Sal,
Even though I watched all of the videos on the Grr-ripper, it was your's and Bob's testimonials on this product that gave me the confidence to order a pair of these. Thanks.

Please don't laugh--is there a difference between the yellow and the black versions, other than the obvious?  [embarassed]

Yellow and black versions are identical.  Not sure why they have them in two colors.

There ARE two different products. The GR-200B includes a larger 'plate' on the left side of the pushblock. #100 about $60, #200 about $80 currently

I got the complete set-up when it was last on sale @ WoodPecker , I don't remember which one of these it is , everything is in boxes as I "had" to clean the garage out so the electricians could run 120V & 240V lines for my new MiniMax MM20 & FS41 Classic  the SawStop PCS  will be ordered this week
I like that smaller new one as well , that be great for the router table  [cool]
