Awhile back I writing about sanding with a oscillating tool and gluing sand paper to wore out blades. Well I finally got around to sanding the bottom of the caves doors.
I placed a piece of sheet metal down so I wouldn't scratch the floor. [attachthumb=1][attachthumb=2][attachthumb=3]

[member=3515]RJNeal[/member] , that is great!  I have a ton of old blades to use up this way.  Did you do a thread above the cave?  I certainly hope so and I just missed it.  Love the doors!  What are the walls?

Thanks Peter,No we didn't do the winery, caves or the doors. But we did do the hospitality, main resident, party barn, pools house and the daughter's home. Plus we picked up the odds and ends
The doors or vert grain Doug fir. The cave walls are gunite.
We did make a four panel shoji screen for them to block parts of the cave from view  of the quest.

What type of glue did you use to affix the sandpaper to the blades? I was thinking contact cement but then again I'd think that the heat build up from the sanding action would allow the contact cement to release perhaps?
