I watched a video on tuning a SawStop table saw. The woman on the video spent a lot of time cleaning inside the cabinet. So, I am between jobs and needed to clean up my shop.
I opened both access panels and was very surprised how much sawdust was inside. I have a big 2HP dust collector attached to the saw and run a dedicated Festool vac through the overarm so I expected the inside to be a lot cleaner.
I spent about 30 minutes removing the dust from the interior and wiping down the tilt screw. The saw has been perfectly accurate so the saw dust didn’t affect accuracy.
I plan to add cleaning the saw’s interior to my monthly detail cleaning chore.
