SawStop PCS Promotion

I've used a Freud Fusion blade on my Sawstop (only a Jobsite saw) and it works great. I love the finish on ripcuts although, in harder and thicker wood, it sometimes does appear to require slower feeds. I would have preferred a thin kerf blade but, as I said, it was just below Sawstop's minimum thickness and I wasn't willing to push the specs without knowing for sure there wouldn't be a problem.

Just to clarify my earlier post Birdhunter is correct that the blade must cut through the glove to the flesh before the brake will activate. I agree that wearing gloves around table saws is probably not a good idea but I actually have a customer who wears gloves when ripping large quantities of stock to prevent their fingers from splinters and getting sore. One of his employees was wearing gloves and got his fingers in the blade and still the cut barely broke the skin.

It's March 1st.  Is this promotion officially "on"?  This thread is the only mention I've seen so far.  Nothing on the Sawstop website, yet.

It's on the site. Both on the main page and if you look at the explore page for the professional saws.

I see it now.  Thanks.

I have the 3hp PCS, the industrial base, the overarm dust guard, and use a full kerf freud fusion blade.  I won't repeat what others have said about the merrits of the sawstop PCS.  I will add that Freud recommends their full kerf blade on 3hp, and up, saws.  I personally found I got better quality cuts with the full kerf blade than with the freud narrow Kerf blade.
