Sorry if this has already been covered and I’m not wanting to re-hash the Fein/Festool thing but aparently the Vecturo has been updated part no. 575354 For the set. Only released this month I think. Got some unusually vague info from festool today that it was now Starlock Max compatible, has anyone seen one?

My guess is the change is because the Plug-it has been deleted on the Vecturo.

I think Tom's the winner.

I had a pin break on mine. From what I've read others have had the same problem.

I recall reading about the change at least a month ago.

Because they can :)
My pins has had problems twice. Once broken and the second time they arced over.
Both time under warranty.
I still like the plug it cord.

More speculation on my part  ;D

I believe the vibration of the Vecturo is to much for the Plug It pins.

Plug-It cords--I can take them or leave them. Rarely do my Plug-It's get un-Plug-It'ed.... [eek]

I was really hoping for an update to the amount of vibration with the Vecturo. My partner has the newer fein 350 and it’s night and day compared to the vecturo. I love the attachments on the vecturo but I wouldn’t buy it again just because it wants to jump so much more.

This Vecturo update hasn't hit North America yet. There's no word yet on if or when it will.

I'll trade you.  [big grin]

If it took the attachments I’d trade and consider myself to be getting the better deal  😜

I have a different opinion (sorry!) - I always through that this plug was totally not necessary on a tool without a vacuum hose connection, and it only added weight, length, and unnecessary added complexity to the tool.

Plug-it useful or not depends on the situation.

For me a fixed cord on Vecturo would mean adding a Systainer or using a larger size in my basic site work kit. Non-removable cord would make it so it would not fit in the Systainer drawer with another tool (jigsaw).
