Seeking quality non-Centrotec bits

Thank you [member=8712]Richard/RMW[/member] those ACR bits are what I've been missing. I have laser engraved Wera screwdrivers and always wanted that feature on my bits. I just never knew the name for it.

I'll probably be building a collection off your links over time.

Thanks to Ron [member=3192]rvieceli[/member] and Matt [member=44099]Cheese[/member] for pointing out the ACR and where to get them.

Not sure why I never picked up on ACR before, I knew it existed but it never sunk in it would alleviate my issues with Phillips slipping. Kind of a "duh" [doh] moment for me.

[member=44099]Cheese[/member] Thanks for letting us know about the ACR, I now know what to search for - when it’s time to replace.

[member=8712]Richard/RMW[/member] Since you’re into metal work as well. If you are not aware; I’ve found this extremely useful in both polishing/restoring gel coat, paint work and as general sanding/grinding purposes when not having air tools available:

It comes with a very nice lamb wool disc, one of the best I’ve seen and used.

I did these support bars for my pre-owned Festool VB table just the other day (they were corroded and looked sad..) Now in “brushed steel” rather than dull corroded..  [wink]
