Selling Festool Systainers

Good afternoon all!

I am considering purchasing some T-Lock systainers to replace some of my original systainers.  I was wondering if anybody has had luck selling their originals and if they've found the resale value to be reasonable!

Dovetail just unloaded a ton of his systainers so he could do the same thing.  I'm pretty sure he did pretty well.

Thanks Jon!  I have a bunch of Sys 1's and 2's...one of the Sys 2's is an attic Sys.  I do have one Sys 3 that i was considering trading out!

It looks like I will have to resort to Craigslist...I guess there is not a classified section on the FOG anymore.  I missed the elimination of that!

I'd imagine no-one would mind if you posted what you'd like to sell and prices on here, and then buyers can pm you? I'm sure Peter will move the thread if he feels it should be somewhere more appropriate.

Bob, there still is a classified section.  I dont know if you have to be logged in as user to see it.  I am seeing it right now.

T Locs were the main reason I gave up my allotment of the Fogtainers.  That and to fund other Festool purchases such as the RO 90  ;D

There will be some Fogtainers next week for sale.  I ordered some extras.  Very limited quantities.  Will be a post announcing first come - first serve on a specific date and time to be fair to everyone.

I believe the price was very near or the same as regular Systainers.

There were actually several other threads about this before this one. 

Beware:  If you want to read the entire thread from start to finish, pull up a comfy chair, put on a pot of coffee, and make sure the dogs don't have to go out.  This thread is the longest in the history of the FOG - for a good reason.  It is all about participation.
