"send this topic" button

Could you please enlighten me what the "send this topic" button does and how to use it.
I thought it will let me email the current topic.

It does allow you to email a link to the current thread to someone. Just enter your name and email for the sender and the recipient's name and email. The comment is optional. I just tested and it worked for me.

Thanks. That's what I expected. For some reason nothing happens when I click it.  I'm sure I had it working OK in the past. Must be something with my browser settings. Thanks anyway.

I was on this forum years ago now I'm completely lost. Can some one direct me to a place to ask a question about the use of a tool
I don't know how to start a thread. thank you

All you need to do is go to the Board (area) which is most relevant and choose the start a new discussion option.

If it ends up in the wrong place don't worry.  We will move it for you.
