Share your MFK 700 experience for a chance to win prizes!

Well, even though we didn't have as many entries as I had hoped, I really enjoyed reading about the experiences that were shared by members about the MFK 700.  My sincere thanks to all who participated.  It just so happens that I'm feeling particular generous today so I am taking some liberties with the prizes.  On to our winners:

First Prize:

dmcinstall
ecofurniture (Andreas)

Yes, that's right.  I awarded two first prizes.  Both entries were good and had their own merits.  The story about working in remote locations and saving time meant getting home more quickly to family really resounded with me.  Time is money, but even more importantly it's something you can never get back especially when it means time with family. Andreas' video shows first hand some of the great benefits of the MFK 700 and obviously has influenced others opinions of this great little router.

Second Prize:

twang120
Kevin D.
junk (John)
mike1967

Yep, everyone's a winner! I will be contacting each of you shortly to get shipping addresses for your prizes.

Thanks for participating and sharing your stories guys.

Email has been sent with address titled "Yippee, I win a Stein".

Thanks for your generosity Shane!

I was actually hoping for the Stein over the Sys/router bit holder.

Have a great day Shane!

Congratulations also to the winners!!!

Congrats to y'all!

Also, kudos to Shane for targeting a contest to a lesser-discussed tool.  I found this thread very interesting simply for that reason.

The MFK wasn't really in my "radar" for something to think about getting.  Another router, ohhh yip...
But, based on comments and experiences, how often I use a trim router, and (perhaps most of all) the stated exquisite dust collection, it's moved onto my "definitely think about it" list.  My current trim router makes a lordy awful mess.  Perhaps selling off some of the router herd will come round to funding a MFK.  [smile]

Thanks a lot Shane! What a nice surprise.  [smile]
I actually just got home from a visit to Ultimate tools in Vancouver buying the edgeguide for the MFK700! Festool heaven  [eek] Dan has just everything in stock you can imagine!
Anyhow, thanks again for the systainer and I will send you a PM shortly.

Shane , Just wanted to let you know that the SYS-OF D8/D12 systainer, has arrived at its new west coast home,I predict that this will be a happy home for it,as it is already shinning like a "new dime" amongst its Festool cousins!
Thank you ,for the chance to share my experience, and for all of your hard work on the FOG ! Congrat's to all the guys!
