Sheepskin for a 125

Thanks!

The lack of documentation on the polishing gear is killing me. I'm working with a new dealer nearer to my home and they are a bit by the book and won't trust me to order things they don't see on Festool's website. So far it's been backer pads that weren't in the catalog, felt pads in singular quantities that are on the website but other dealers are selling them, and now the sheepskin pad that is not on the website but people are selling.

I think I'm going to have to cut this dealer loose. Its a shame because they could have been a good source near home for supplies.

Sorry for the rant guys, it just bothers me when something that should be simple gets way to complicated.

Why don't you take a minute of so and call Festool USA and talk to an application specialist?  That is an avenue available to you also.

They have been very helpful. I guess my real problem is I have developed a relationship with my other dealer where I could just give him a part number and tell him I want on. The downside is they are forty minutes away. I was hoping to have a dealer a couple of minutes away for supplies that are needed without the commute. But I just don't think the local guys are going to be able to have that trust level. They short circuit when they can't find it on the website or in the catalog, hahahaha.

Also, I think some of the difference is the Festool rep. The new store is in a different county, so there is a different rep. The original store has a great rep who really works hard for his dealers and us the customers!

I agree that Festool doesn't do a good job in delineating what pad to use and when. Don't know for sure, but maybe these will help.
