I would like some feedback from some of you guys that have maybe had one of these in use for a while. I'm familiar with the use and operation of these machines we have 3 Williams & Hussey  machines at work. I would like to have a W&H for my home shop but can't justify the cost. The Shop Fox is half the price and I do like the closed stand and larger cast bed with t slots over the W&H. What I would like to know is how is the build quality and how well your machine has held up.

I own both the older W&H style and the newer one you are talking about. The newer one is much better. Both have variable speed which the old W&H didn't have. This is important because for the most part you cannot make multiple passes. I know there Is some kind of drive roller that is supposed to allow multiple passses but I don't have it.

Had some problems with the drive gears on the first one. The newer one has run only hundreds of feet of base, casing and crown. Great machine that pays for itself on the first job. New one is much better.

I don't have the shopfox, but last year I bought a woodmaster and am very happy with what it does for me.

I have the older shop fox and it is still very stout  It has the variable speed.  I built my own style guide runners    I don't have a problem with the older one either.  New is always nice but I wouldn't pass up a good deal on an older shop fox.  Solid.

Well I went ahead and ordered the Shop Fox Friday it was on sale and at $1500.00 to my door with shipping I couldn't pass it up should ship out Monday.
