Stumbled upon this. I do a ridiculous amount of sanding, mostly on hands and knees, this looks absolutely fantastic. Does anyone know a Netherlands store that ships to the UK? Or is there a kind fellow who would consider shipping a few to the UK to me after I wire them the funds?

Why don't Festool consider licensing this product?

I can see the obvious possible health and safety problem of a jigsaw/tracksaw possibly being yanked off the work table when a tired./distracted /daydreaming operative forgets he is 'hooked up' but it looks so useful nonetheless

They sell the Slide-kick and do send to other EU countries.
So hurry up before the Brexit starts.

This Slide-Kick device appears to be a great solution to tethered tools- simple & effective!  And to think I was considering buying the $378 boom arm set to help keep hoses and power cables in control!

I think this is one of those products that in practice will cause more problems and frustration than it solves.

Cheers dude. Just ordered 3.Hope they arrive! It's either going to be brilliant, or totally useless, I will report back after (if)  I get them and have had a chance to test.
