McFeeleys.com now has a Snappy 6-inch #2 square drive bit for Centrotec. It is in the catalog I just got, but not easy to find on the website, search for "MS-95612", then pull down the "Size" field, and there it is. Gonna get a couple to use with the Kreg jig.

It would be nicer to have a Centrotec that fit the Kreg bit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Or rather a FastFix chuck that fits the Kreg bit.

There is, it's called the Fastfix Keyless Chuck................. [wink]  [thumbs up]

But you have to have two one for the drill bit and one for the driver bit to make it a fastfix solution or use the sloppy fit of a snappy chuck (the bit driver of my Leatherman holds better and I have two sizes of the square drive bits for it!) then you have to store the second chuck somewhere.

Anyway, whomever makes the cost effective solution available will make a profit to keep their bean counters happy but more importantly will win the hearts of their loyal customers.  [thumbs up]

Not a good pic, but here are the 6" alongside the 3". They run fairly true in my Centrotec chuck. Have not seen the part on Woodcraft or Rockler yet, but I would assume most Snappy dealers are also Kreg dealers, and will probably have them soon.

All you need is a 9.5mm Centrotec bit holder, I don't know where to get one but I'm pretty sure they're out there ;D
