UPDATE (2024-10-08): I was asking for $125, for the complete set (see below). However, one of the folks who looked at my offering (at the Woodcraft tool swap) said that that was too low; and recommended that I ask for at least $150. A few hours later, I had $150 in my pocket. 8^)
============
I'm in the process of learning how to use my new Festool saw and tracks. That new saw is the only reason why I am planning to get rid of my old saw.
My OLD saw, tracks, etc. are listed below. I'm wondering what price I should be asking for them . . . ?
Just to set the context, in case it affects the going price:
- I will NOT be shipping anything, anywhere, sorry. Buyer must be local to the Boston metro area.
- Buyer will have the opportunity to inspect these items, before sale, at the Woodcraft Woburn, MA location on 5 October 2024.
- I strongly prefer to sell these items as a complete set (hey, it's the Festool system, right?), so please be clear on whether the price you are recommending is for the set, or for one or more items. (Note: I am NOT soliciting bids from prospective buyers; I'm simply trying to use this site's collective expertise to, ideally, discover a market price that won't leave either me or the potential buyer feeling ripped-off.)
- Condition varies slightly with each item (as detailed below), but nothing was abused or neglected. I'm pretty meticulous with my good tools!
Qty. Item & Condition
1 Festool AFT-55E Plus track saw; excellent condition. (Maybe ~200 hours of use?)
1 Original (plywood/combo) blade for saw; good conditiion (could use a cleaning; maybe a sharpening soon)
1 Festool rough cut blade (excellent condition -- about 2 hours use)
1 Manual for saw
1 Systainer (old style) for saw
2 Festool FS-1400 tracks (old style); one in very good condition; other in very good condition except small blade nick
(splinter guides trimmed to match above saw)
1 FS-SYS accessories set; in (old style) systainer
