Nope. Just in my way. I rarely even use the one on the 1080. I find a SCMS is much faster for my uses (since my 1080's are also my TS outfeed tables). Anything too wide for the SCMS, I just slap down a guide rail on my marks and cut.

Peter, is the hardware kit still available?  I'm considering making my own MFT if I can find the table profiles or frame components.  I'll put out a request on the FOG classifieds.  Thanks, Kevin
