The original Omnijig was Porter-Cable’s flagship dovetail machine for many years and the undisputed workhorse of production half-blind dovetail work – cutting both pins and tails in a single pass.
They just don’t make them like this anymore. The original Omnijig is built like a tank – the heaviest and most solid of any dovetail jig ever sold weighing in at over 60 pounds to dampen all vibration. Super sturdy with true machine tool construction - precision milled 5/8-inch thick cast-aluminum base.
This dovetail machine handles stock up to 24 inches wide and 1/2 to 1 inch thick. It holds material securely with fast cam-action 1-1/4 inch solid steel clamping bars.
The tool has been kept in pristine condition and there is no rust anywhere on it.
