Not growing through my roof, but I just had a 60' or so tall 3+ ft diameter white oak fall down all by itself in my back yard.   Main trunk is a straight, 38" dia x 11'-9" log.   Trying to decide if its worth the trouble to get someone with a portable sawmill com in and slice it into lumber or cut it up for firewood.

Just glad it didn't fall down and create a hole through my new roof.
