Someone may want this.

I scooped up a ton of them way back and have almost all my tools with the pigtail now.

Nickao, How about some pictures of the pigtail so we can see how it might work for us?  I would like to see if these is a mounting fixture at the end or if it is simply a loose pigtail without any mounting elements.  Have any of them out of the package for us to look at?

Thanks Junk, but that doesn't show the end too good.  From what I can see, it doesn't look as if there is any mounting plate or anything.  So, I guess it is just a loose pigtail without any way to mount it to, oh, lets say, the inside of a Systainer...

Corwin, the don't have a fixing plate. They are designed to be wired into your non-Festool tools so that you get the benefits associated with the plug-it system.

Why do you want to mount one in a systainer?  [scratch chin] [popcorn]

Um.....  so I can plug it in using my plugit cords, silly.  [tongue]

Seems like you could make a plate for those tails if you want to power your Systainer (radio? mini fridge?).  Chunk of wood, Forstner bit the size of the Plug-It socket, epoxy/screw wood to inside of Systainer, push socket through to expose it to the outside.  Small screw in side of wood can pinch the socket in place.  Kinda thinking out loud cuz there's gotta be a good use for that    [scratch chin]
