Just picked up one of these, the pictures on their site are always small and fuzzy and I didn't realize it was an EXACT replica of the Blum Ecodrill.
I kinda feel dirty owning this, knowing that fact; feels like I'm rewarding imitators over innovators.
That aside, there's a few design questions I have, mainly, are there any bushings/bearings that align the drill shanks on these? I'm not sure how the plungers come apart yet, but I'm wondering if there's a bushing capturing the drill bit on the bottom, or if it's just riding on the steel base of the jig. Looking at the Blum videos, they seem to advertise they have bronze bushings pressed into the jig base, but I don't see that on the Sommerfeld when peeking around w/ the bit retracted.
