I need a source for steam bent solid wood table aprons for a 48" round pedistal table. Apron between 42" and 46".  Maple. Can't seem to find anything on the net.

I had to source one out for a job a couple of months ago and i found them on chair-kits.com. I have never ordered from them because the client changed their mind and went with a square table instead so i can't speak for the quality of their products, but it will at least give you a starting point.

Good thing you didn't order from chairkits.com  I tried but received a phone call that the site is not complete and that they have no product to ship, and that I should not have been able to place an order.

Yup, tablelegs .com , but they have discontinued the larger sizes due to a problem with there suplier. About a month ago I had lined them up for my source, went to order a few days ago and .... no longer available.

No, they don't have to be steam bent.

Sorry about that i never got farther than finding the site. I don't understand why a company would have a live page for a product they don't even carry yet.

If you find a source can you post it, it may come in handy for me in the future.

Its takes time but its  fairly easy enough to make a form and laminate them yourself.

Yup. I've done that in the past but I was looking to save the time plus I would still need to out source the band saw work.

Seth  if you still need someone PM me . I have a guy  that can bend anything .  They have a huge press .

OK. Someone just asked me.............. So here is an update four years later ..............................

I did order a curved apron in maple (soft). It was $34.00 for 46" diameter plus $20.00 shipping. Here is a link to the supplier..........................

This is where the apron ended up. 48" diameter top. Not the best picture but the top has two 17" - 18" wide maple pieces and two narrower pieces.

Customer wanted something a bit different so I came up with something.
