Kinda interesting...

Just over six months after making a joke bet in his front garden, Michael Thompson has lived up to his idle boast of being able to make anything out of wood.

Were are the plans I want to build one. Look like it was cut out using  CNC.

There are a number of companies using bamboo for the tubing, composite or carbon fibre for the intersections. pricey frames, they are.

This one does not look like it has a frame, just a lot of sheet goods.

Those are normal bikes, of which only the frame is made out of wood. This bike here is made ALL out of wood, no metal, plastic or rubber parts. Even the cogs are made out of wood. That's quite something different. I wouldn't want to ride one, after a mile your bum's as hard as the wooden saddle.

Based on the size of that "pliCog" it must be a real tree-climber!  [smile]
