It seems simple enough right?  Search websites for Square Drive Centrotec Bits.  I can't find them if they are out there.  I thought I've seen them before or am I imagining things?  I have the Phillips, Slotted, Posi Drive bits but no square drives so I thought I'd look for the shorter and the longer ones to fit the Centrotec chuck.

Thank you in advance for any help

Festool does not make them as far as I know. They are not used in Europe.

They have not made them as a regular catalog item, however there were square drive bits in the most recent Centrotec Set as I recall.

4" came in the set. Only time it was offered as far as I know.

Thank you for the info.  I thought I had seen them somewhere before.  Are they offered in the Installers Kit?  Since I've been looking at those maybe that is where it was. Oh well

Thanks guys

The 201312 kit includes the following

Description                Qty
Square Drive #1–25 mm     5
Square Drive #2–25 mm     10
Square Drive #3–25 mm     5
Bit Square Drive #1–100 mm 1
Bit Square Drive #2–100 mm 1
Bit Square Drive #3–100 mm 1

That will work!!!  Il have to put a set of the Atlas in my cart.  So that is where I spotted the square/Robertsons in the Installers Kit. OK

Thank you again fellows.

Snappy makes them in 6" length and 3" length. Works great, Ive used the same bit for about 3 years. Look on their website under the centrotec section.

I really like the Festool bits, they engage the head of the screw in a very positive manner. However, I have had issues with the #2 Phillips rounding out and the slotted blade bit chipping/breaking.

A great alternative are Apex bits, all are 1-piece machined bits made in the USA. They manufacture 18 different drive styles.http://products.apex-tools.com/tools/bits

Here's their selection of square recess (Robertson) bits.http://products.apex-tools.com/tools/bits/square-recess

I've also used their ACR® (Anti-Camout Rib) Phillips bit for removing corroded/painted Phillips fasteners. The ACR® bit has small ribs/teeth that bite into the defective fastener head.
