Standard or Specialty Nut?

Is the nut for the bracket (MFT/3 Cross-Member Support) a standard size available at the local hardware store?  If so, for what do I ask?  I am not at all familiar with metric threads or nut sizes.  If I need to order from Festool, what is the part #?

I apologize for such an ignorant question.  I jammed the nut trying to insert it and, in the process of freeing it, it hit the floor and promptly went where all such hardware goes.  I even swept the floor with a magnet.

You might want to do a search in the Festool EKAT.  It looks like "Square Nut, 8mm", part number 219098.
