Has any body found they are getting static shocks from the guide rail, I have recently upgraded my TS55EBQ with a TS55R , I use it with my anti static plug it hose. on my CTL26  / CT44 or my Midi vac and more often than not get a real crack if I touch the track . I don't understand why as I didn't have this problem with my old TS55.

I haven't had this issue but i can take a crack at it,

Are  you sure that your vac is plugged into a properly grounded outlet?  without it all the anti-static hoses mean nothing.

Is there a chance that you are having particularly dry weather right now?

John

Op from uk we don't know what dry weather is  [big grin]

In answer to question I have the ts55r had no issues, based in south east England, don't think it could be weather related

Well in answer to questions
Tested earth continuity through plug it hose cable and vac. No problem and properties all have earth to current regs. (tested)
Floors I have used it on range from concrete , wood and tile  all non conductive.
Boots I wear are rubber soled and the weather is never very dry here unfortunately.
Very puzzling ????
