After the floor had been finished on our sauna's patio building I have made a small outdoor kitchen there. First I've build frame work for the two cabinets using pine 6 by 4 cm. I have considered making drawers in them but due to the weathers over here opted not to. The cabinets are sheeted with 14 cm by 1.5 cm pine boards overlapping each board by 1.5 cm with a 4 cm wide by 1.5 cm thick pine strip. The cabinets doors were cut out after all boards were nailed in place and assembled back and left with the TS's blade spacing the door back. (Doors were cut with TS55) The countertop is laminated mahogany from the local home depot. I really hope it holds up through the winters here... It was bought pre oiled. The only thing I did to it was buffing it with beeswax. The sink in the smaller of the two cabinets also comes from the home depot and is some kind of composite I guess. Cast granite I think it said on the box. The sink's cabinet has no shelve as it needs to be accessible to disconnect the water. This cabinet is deeper then the other one as I wanted it to reach the same depth as the wood stove it lives next to. The cabinet holds rubbish bins. That stove (or the cast iron parts from it) btw comes from our house's second floor, we salvaged it during our renovation. All cast iron parts were soda blasted and treated with stuff people call liesimusta over here. The longer cabinet has three doors and one shelve halfway it's height (90 cm for both cabinets plus stove) for storing plates etc. My Missis found a very much overpriced, and besides too big, pan rack at a local decoration store and wanted something like it. After she took me there to show it I figured I could make something like that myself and so it went. All hooks where purchased from ikea and the iron from the home depot. Finished in black metal paint. The tabletop you see in the photos below I also did. It is made out of spruce boards and dominoed together, planed flat and finished in black stain (3 meters long and 94 cm wide 5cm thick.) The benches and table's legs/ undercarriage in pine were found from a friends relative abandoned farm.
