I need to come up with some emblems for something I'm making a run of... I tried some non-injected ones from one place but was not satisfied at all. They look kinda like 3D printed rough and nasty, and overly thick. There's a waterjet place in Canada I was interested in but they aren't responding (they can do a lot of stuff). I'm not sure what to look for... The faces are aluminum. I need something that looks good and doesn't break the bank. A setup fee is ok if it's not really high (some injection mold costs can be like $3k+).
Injection molding would require a boat load to be made and even then, what if it sucks? As some of you know there are some limits to efficiency of what one can spend on a project.
