Well, although it seems only days since I posted pictures of my last little project, here's my next:

[attachthumb=#]

A boy this time, 4 days old and a big lad already...no wonder my wife is wincing when she sits down  [eek]

Alexander Macpherson, brother of Daisy, Evie and Jacob.  No wonder I look tired and don't get too much time in the workshop these days!

Cheers all,
Rick

Congratulations Rick!  Now there is another birthday to celebrate.

Peter

Congrats!
Now - how long do we have to wait for the picture of him with his FESTOOL tattoo????
[wink]

Haha, now there's a thought.  Actually, I've just realised he's dressed in Milwaukee red...my bad.

Congratulations Rick!  I love the way in which you presented his name.

Congratulations!

Probably time for me to share some of my advanced baby body language reading skills with you ... that pose may seem like a simple relaxed resting position, but that's actually a very clear "I want my dad to have a new surfboard, so he can stand like this" message.

Something else you need to be aware of, the time of day combined with intense crying can mean different things, for example loud crying at about 8am is in fact saying "I want to be relaxed by the sound of a new and interesting power tool", where as the same level of crying at 7pm is saying "I want mum to look after me while dad focuses to the sports on TV over a beer, so he can recount the stats to me as a bed time story".

I realize this is your 4th - but I've found so many parents lack this fundamental communication skill, take my wife ... she's never understood this complex language of children and has always confused the meaning of the messages.

If need be, I'm happy to translate infant messages - just post more photos and I'll interpret them for you !  [smile]

Yes,   CONGRATULATIONS RICK !

Now we know that murse hitting the goods as you walk hasn't affected a darn thing.  [big grin]  Who needs sleep when you have 4 alarm clocks?

Congrats Rick! [thumbs up]
And good luck explaining those translations to the wife. [tongue]

Ahhhh...baby picture!!!!    Congrats to you Rick, and to Mom as well!

Way to go!  What cutter size did you use for that?  [big grin]  ( I'll not ask the cutting depth setting.... [scared])

I respect that answer!  A lot of guys would have vowed a modified custom made bit of alleged extraordinary proportions.  You sir, are squire!  [smile]

Thanks for all the good wishes guys, even though he's my fourth I'm as excited as I was for the first!

Kev, thanks for the translations mate, I've passed these on to my wife who had the impertinence to doubt your theories. I pointed out that you were an Aussie and as such your understanding of the finer nuances of communication were unquestionable, but she replied in a way that even I was able to translate fully.  Go figure.

Cheers,
Rick

Congratulations Rick!  You have clearly been busy!  Alexander looks like joiner material for sure!  or maybe a Rugby star...
