SW doesn't want to custom tint anymore?

I have never used their pigmented lacquer - but I thought Target Coatings would custom tint for you.

Knowing now that their process for tinting paint is fairly time consuming I'm feeling a little guilty about asking any store to do it.  That was the first of 5 colors I will want/need in the upcoming months.  I probably should solve my problem locally or I'll just be kicking the can down the road.  I'll see if the BM industrial is able to tint more easily.  If they can, I'll just do that.  If they can't then Ill work through your guy for this color.

You don't happen to know what type of tint is used for KA+ do you?  Another option would be to try to find someone I could pay to tint stuff I buy from SW.  For what I do it only really needs to be as perfect as box store tinting machines.

Don't feel guilty, it's their job.

It does not take them long to tint the KA+. From eye most of the people I know who blend at the store I go to can get it right in a few minutes. The week lead time is back log.

We did have on mix that took a few hours. It was a BM color and had to be dead on. We got it real close but it was still off a touch. SW does not have a grey tint, BM does. We figured the white base was going to get us grey when we added black, well it didn't. A shot of white tint and it was spot on.

Kem Aqua Colorants, Color Cast Eco Toner or BAC.
