I'm in the process of organizing the shop and I'm migrating to systainers as I do. For the most part I feel like it's been successful however these have me stumped. I bought them because I got a decent price second-hand. And now I realize that's probably because the guy I bought them from couldn't figure out a use for them either!!

I thought worst case I'd throw a drill in there but the bottom foam seems too thick for that even!

So do any of you use these? Got any pics or ideas to share?

I do general woodwork & cabinet making. Not a whole lot of electrical tools to speak of.

Thanks for any ideas you might share!

There are many others more experienced than I, but I'll be happy to offer some ideas:

Using it as is:

•Measuring tools - lasers, levels, squares, tape measures

•Small hand tools. Some possibilities: Hammer, screw/nut drivers, socket set, catclaw prybar, screwdrivers, knife, vise grips, chisels

• Dremel tool & accessories

• Clamps

• Drill bit and driver kits

• Spare batteries for your cordless tools

With some modification (like removing or replacing the bottom foam:

• Small drills & drivers (I have My Milwaukee M12 stuff in one).

• Spare TS blade storage. I had all of my blades in one until I outgrew it and they moved to a Sys2.

• A spare set of pants for when you rip yours out on the job? BT, DT!

I'm sure there will be more to come...
