SYS-MFT-FX Set in NA

I saw this on an online dealers site. When I inquired, they said they were only allowed to purchase ten of these from Festool. If this is something you want in N America, I suggest contacting your preferred dealer quickly as these are bound to sell through in about 10 seconds if dealers can only get so few...

As an alternative, check out the MFT Clamping kit from Veritas / Lee Valley.http://www.leevalley.com/US/wood/page.aspx?p=70681&cat=1,43838,43845

Most of us probably have most of the components in this set but how many will actually buy this kit for the low profile fence?

Im aware that the low profile fence is available thru other manufacturers but this looks attractive all in a systainer

I called my dealer already but i hope this does not turn into a mother PRO 5 deal  [laughing]

I got the LV low profile fence (just the fence individually, separate from the kit) a stop gap for hand tooling on my mft style workbench until I get a new bench with integrated clamping up and running. I really like how you can  get the lv fences in multiple lengths.

Problem with the set is that the insert leaves way too much systainer space unused. I already had a MFT-SP set, if they had the insert different, it would have fitted right in there too  [tongue]
