A Sys1 with a drawer.  I would buy one for my C12.  Perfect for drills and accessories.  I have used a systainer with the top storage lid.  Not worth it, not enough room (I want to put a drill index in it that goes with me and the drill), or have other accessories in it, like common hole saws, etc.  And the lid was an issue due to a broken latch (too fragile for the way I work).

Yeah, I agree that size option would be good.  Maybe we will see more drawer combinations down the road.

I'd like to see a separate drawer unit which could be added to any existing systainer.

Tanos makes (or used to make?) a single-depth set of drawers in the classic line (not T-Loc, unfortunately). Lee Valley has them athttp://www.leevalley.com/US/wood/page.aspx?p=64653&cat=1,43326,68749 . Get it while you can, because it has disappeared from the Tanos products page at tanos.de.

I have one, but I found it to be a nuisance, being non-T-Loc, and ended up just making dividers for a regular Sys I.

What we really need is a T-Loc single-drawer Systainer.

I'd think the Sys combi small version would be the closest solution to what your looking for. A little more space so you could fit a drill and jigsaw would be bad.

I'd like to see either a Sys 1 with a Drawer or a Sys 2 with a Sys 1 top and a drawer underneath. The option of a Sys 1 size drawer would be very flexible for a lot of uses.

I was thinking this the other day, they really need to bring out a say 1 with a drawer

Great idea, could have all kinds of sizes.

I use Systainers for my everyday hand tool storage. I would LOVE having sys 1-5 drawer options , especially with two larger drawers in a 3 or 4. Something with twice the height of the current combi's.

It would make my mobile stack so much fore user friendly !!!

I like the sound of this. You could add a drawer into a stack wherever you wanted to and
it would be semi-permanently attached to the Sys above it in the stack. Meaning it would
mount to the underside of a Systainer with a more secure latch than the T-latch.

Then whatever tool you have you could add a drawer (or two) for accessories used with that
tool. A single drawer unit with dividers and deep enough to use the little storage boxes would
be great. I would get one for the router to hold bits, one for the drill for all sorts of accessories
as well as screws, and at least one or two more for miscellaneous bits and small hand tools.

This is a great idea and thinking it over it is even more practical than one might think at first.

I have a plethora of drills - too many perhaps. It is a slight nuisance to keep track of some specialty bits and pieces for the drills when I bring the "right one" for the task at hand. A single drawer unit would sort it out by simply having all the bits and small pieces separate in a SYS Drawer and then simply add whatever drill I need for the day.

I know there is a Centrotec kit but it does not have all I use and too much that I don't. I prefer building my own kits.
I have been entertaining the idea of making a few inserts and have a SYS 1 with my own stuff. But - a drawer is just that much nicer in use and could be kept permanently at the bottom of the stack/pile/tower.
