SYS3 L 337

Not that I've seen.  There is XXL 337, but not L 337.
On my price list/catalog I see L 137, L 187, and L 237.

Seems that if there is an XXL, there may be an L, right?
What will you be putting in one if you could get it?

Thank you, Tim.

I am trying to find a Systainer for my Makita GSR01Z. M size is small for this tool, XXL is way too big. I have a couple of M 337 for my other saws and I was pretty sure they have L 337.

Sad :(

The L series (Midi before) were never made beyond "2 modules" heoight - aka old SYS III or 237 today.

M437 or a T-Loc V (420) would probably do with a custom insert.

E.g. my TSC came in it.
I moved it to a T-Loc IV (315), but only because I store the charger (and blades) separately.

I've not used the Makita GSR01Z, but adding to what [member=61254]mino[/member] already said, what about storing in a vertical orientation?

Would have to be diagonal, since it's total length -per Makita USA website- is 17.5 funny units, or 444.5mm. So pure vertical won't even fit in Sys3 M 437.

That what I meant by a "custom insert". Not sure it is worth the trouble, but, IMO, better than than a lone L337.

Funnty thing is, I got hold of a couple SYS MAXI for a good price recently and realized how much more practical they are for a (non-)site animal like me. While retaining reasonable portability. Just about when they got EOLed.

Yup, front carry handle, sturdy as they can get and not 0.8m long.

Talking about maxi's... I should look into getting one for my CMS stuff.

Hello, created an account just to answer this post.  You can fit your Makita 7-1/4 rear handle saw with the blade on the Sys3 L 237 just fine. You simply rest it on its guard at an angle.  If any of you guys have the 10 in rear handle saw, the 437 kinda works diagonally, but if someone can come up with a template to set a piece of ply so that the saw is not leaning against the abs wall that would be god send.  I have seen a Japanese wood worker where he sets a piece of ply at an angle in a systainer with a notch for the guard to go through.  Another trick for the 10 in saw is to remove the blade and simply pull the guard, so that it sits flat on its shoe.
