Syslight Charging Question

I was using my syslight today and the internal battery died.  So I found an outlet and a extension cord and pluged it in and continued using the light.    So my question is, if the light is on while plugged in to a power supply is the battery charging?  Also Festool needs to put a battery indicator on the lights!

That would be awesome!    Watch they add this stuff and the price goes up $100.  LoL
