I picked up my Syslite Uni this morning to use, when I tried to click it on, the middle indicator light lite up (see attached photo) indicating I presume a below temperature (or too hot?) situation?

It is a pleasant 70 degrees F in the workshop.  I tried 2 other batteries, fully charged, none would work, as in the Uni lights powering up.  Batteries have full charge indication when connected to one of my drills.... And the drills spin up.

Can anyone shed some light (no pun intended) on my Uni Light?

Thank,

Gary

Take it back to your dealer. Also take your battery and try the next light before you take it home.

There's only one light that does different things...

If the light is steady green, (as it seems in the image), it means the battery is full. If it won't fire up, it has a problem. It's under warranty for 3 years - shipping paid both directions.

As the battery drains, the light blinks green and then faster as it's really draining.

For temperature issues, it should be steady red.

GPowers - the light has worked numerous times since I purchased it several months ago....

Tom, thanks, doesn't help me a lot when I'm red/green color blind......  :(

If I "concentrate" I can tell it is green, and it is steady on.  The light will not light....

Strange that it just quit working, I haven't dropped it or any such occurrence.  I guess I will arrange to have it sent to Festool next week....

Thanks,

Gary

Well, I've learned at least one thing from my Uni light failure, and sending it in for repair.  It never crossed my mind the Uni or my Syslite would have serial numbers, or the fact I could register them......
