Bought a Festool Syslite from an online dealer, and it came with two registration forms neither one had the correct serial number printed on the form, can I just amend the form or will that not work with the bar code printed on the form. Already emailed festool UK but had no reply.

You don't have to sent in the form, you can just register online, and use the number on the machine. (Allthough I usually use the form to read the number, but the times I did check, it was always the same as the machine I got it with)

Probably  jumping the gun here!

BUT
U taking the ...... or your actually stating it has only 2 months warranty?  Cus I have been lead to believe its 3 yrs!  I have two of them and if they only have two months I will be returning both of them cus I believe if they can only offer two months warranty! Festool are obviously not confident enough it will last longer than 2 months fault free and for that price im not risking it!

[big grin]

i think festoolfootstool was making a sly remark about which ever accesory he/she bought and couldnt get replaced after 2 months

Yes I was told by a member of staff of tts (festool)that all festool accessories are only covered by a two month warranty here in the UK

I'm not sure whether a torch is classed as a tool or an accessory

o was that official. is that stated anywhere

Well,Alan

That was what I was told when I asked how long the warrantee was, so unless she was not telling the truth........... But why should a festool employee
lie to a customer about warantee duration ? that would be just plain bonkers wouldnt it?
