For those of you that have a Fuji HVLP 4 stage Mini-Mite, can you check if it would fit into a Systainer 3 or 4? I am trying to do a little house cleaning, and the Systainer sounds like a great storage solution.

Thanks in advance :)

I don't have the mini-mite, but do have the Q4 and there is no way it is fitting in a systainer.  You would need a sys 5 (maybe a sys 4) for just the gun and hose, the turbine is too big in two dimensions.  It does stack nicely by itself on top of a sys stack though. It does all fit nicely in a large rubber made tote though.

Same as Kevin... I never saw the mini but I do have a Q4. No way that the gun, hose, whip cord etc.. would fit nicely in a Sys 3. Maybe a Sys 4 or 5. I can't imagine putting the Q4 in a Systainer but then again I'm happy with it being out.

I am not sure about the mini. Do you have the dimensions?

I have the mini-mite, I will check this afternoon when I get home.

The compressor for the Q4 is quite a bit larger then the Mini-mite, since it has additional baffling for noise reduction purposes. I also wanted to mention that I have the gravity gun version, which has a smaller paint cup on top vs. the larger cup on the bottom. I need to do take some measurements, but I am pretty sure and Systainer 4 or 5 should work. In the worst case scenario I can always get a Systainer 3 and use that for the gun and all of the accessories, and store the compressor separately.

I have the Q4 and just keep it on a shelf with the hose cable cuffed to it. Gun and everything else is in a Sys2. Not sure how much smaller your unit is but if you could fit it in even a Sys 5 that would be really nice.

Folks,

Thanks for all of the feedback! I will go ahead and get a Systainer 4, and just keep the hose on the side. Thanks again!
