Hi everyone!

For a while I've been thinking of how to make a cyclone or chip-separator fit in a systainer and on top of my vac. After browsing the net for various versions this is what I came up with. As the thred title says it's the 1.0 version because I don't want to wreck a systainer before trying the right setup.
I have used a Euro-bin which is about the same hight as a SYS-3.
About 40cm of 40mm drain-pipe and two 90* bends.

Here is the "SysClone"

I've tried it out with a small bucket of saw-dust and after emptying the dust back in to the bucket I would say that atleast 90% of the dust stayed in the SysClone.

I will update this post when I got more pictures and of course when version 2.0 is done with a Systainer, if no one beats me to it.  [big grin]

Hey,

Great idea it would work well with the largest Systainer has it is a bigger unit and look great on the Vacs I will be watching your progress and see how it works out, all others versions I have seen in the past with cyclonic are as ugly as "s--t"on the vacs. I always loved how Festool made the Vac Sys in Systainer boxes, this is a great idea.

I will copy your lead so you can do all the hard work :) so keep us all updated on your prgress.

Cheers

Steve
