Systainer for storing bench dogs and accessories

A simple solution for all the bench dogs, Parf dogs, and accessories that have been rolling around and up to no good. Using a piece of 30 mm thick Kaizen foam from FastCap (https://www.fastcap.com/product/kaizen-foam) I cut the base piece of foam using another Festool provided foam insert as a template. Then I cut holes in the foam using a General gasket punch set (S1270) in several diameters. To cut the foam you turn and push the cutter down to the desired depth and then pluck the foam plug out. You can use a knife to cut the foam, but the gasket cutter does a cleaner and more consistent cut. There is a small amount of foam in the bottom of the hole to protect the Systainer T-LOC SYS 2 TL.

I'm also in the process of making a foam insert for a CMS-TS 75 saw insert in a Maxi-Systainer and I'll post that project when it's completed.

I did it a slightly different way. Took a SYS-MFT-1 and put the SYS-MFT top on a SYS-3. While cutting an MFT style top on a CNC and running test hits for hole size, I wound up re-purposing one of the rows. This holds all my clamps, dogs, and accessories (The orange boxes are from the smallest Ridgid tool box), while being mobile, and can function to clamp my work to when I don't need a full size MFT table. Wasted space means more crap to move around, so everything needs to be as space efficient as possible.

Edit: No fancy label for mine. Instead the T-Loc latch is color coded, as all of mine are. The Ridgid box below is labeled though...just a handwritten "M12" with a Sharpie. I am so not cool...

Just googled this. "Gasket Punch Set"  Looks like the exact same set is sold under several names. Range from $20 - $40. So shop around and factor shipping.
