Systainer II w/Attic - Is it big enough to use for the 6" sanding disk insert?

I'm thinking about getting a Systainer II for use with 6" sanding disks but I saw the one with the attic on it which would be useful for holding other things that I need all he time that never can seem to find (Pencils, note pad, tape measure, etc...).

I know the Systainer II is the normal case Festool uses for the 6" sanding disks, does the attic change the internal dimensions? Would it work with the 6" disk insert without crumpling the 6" disks?

Any ideas on this? I can't seem to find the internal dimensions of both to compare...
Thanks

Actually, the 150mm abrasives Systainer comes in a Systainer size 3.

It is possible to remove the lid and swap it to a different Systainer.  For example, I moved an attic to Sys4 for my nail guns and such (the attic holds nails, oil, etc).

I believe moving the attic to a Sys3 with the 150mm disc insert would be alright.  You might squash the discs a bit but that's no big whoop.  When you attach it to the sander it will hold it flattened out.

what's the part # for a SYS -w- attic,  or just a sys-attic lid?  I recall seeing these with former drill models,  but not by their lonesome

497852 apparently

Wood_Junkie, you are right, it is a sys III. Hmm, buy a II with the attic and a III and just swap the lids. Might be an option... Then I can get the router bit insert and use the II for that...

Geez, I need to get a second job to support my festool habit :)
