Hello FOG -

Thank you to the Systainer community and those here on FOG that have been customers of Systainer Store the last six years.  I enjoy interacting with each of you, helping you get the right systainer and now showing your fitouts at Systainer.Works.

It is with much excitement that I announce that Systainer Store has been acquired by Systainer Systems North America, the joint venture of Tanos and Bott.  Further more, together we have launched Systainer USA a new Systainer shopping experience.  I'm thrilled to be working with them, and still serving you, and bringing new capabilities to the community.

With Systainer USA, you will get product direct from the manufacturer.  The dealer model for Tanos systainers is being dissolved.  In a couple weeks Systainer Store will be redirected.  There are just a couple deals left, if you are interested.  Otherwise the best pricing is over on Systainer USA.

So what do you get on Systainer USA?

There is new pricing, making it more affordable to stack those systainers!

We are implementing customization for handles and catches for most Systainers.  That is right, you can order a Systainer in your desired color scheme with no up charge even if just ordering one unit.

Finally, we will be holding A LOT more stock of most items - all colors, accessories, etc.  We are still building up the stock and customization capabilities, so some items may not be available just yet.

And as icing on the cake, the new Systainer3 items are finally here in the USA.  Systainer3 Combi, Sortainer, Rack and S.  The ToolBag is restocked too.

See all this and more at Systainer USA

Of course, I value your feedback.  We have much to do in bring in the technical information and to improve the new experience, let me know here of what you would like to see on the new site.

Thank you.

Make it a great day - Sys Tim

Are we still going to get your quirkiness? And Systainer Works with fitouts? Or are we going staid and corporate?

And is this meaning that other stores won't carry Tanos versions of systainers at all?

....you like my quirkiness?  [smile]

I hope to still have some of that.  I'll still have some social media presence, maybe some videos too.  Now that we have a team involved, I'm sure they will smooth over any jagged edges.

I'll certainly be continuing with Systainer Works.  I'd like to get back into Friday Fitout Favorite emails too.  I hope to spend more time on this endeavor, as long as the community still wants to see this content and is willing to share it.

And right other dealers will be phasing out of Tanos systainer stock.  Here or there are some exceptions, for the most part we will be direct.

Systainer USA is down. Even worse the DNS are not resolving the domain name anymore:

Will Systainer Store not be redirected after all?

I ordered 20 of these latches for the Systainer3 Organizer. This is what I received from Systainer USA.

I sent this image to Systainer USA, and received a reply from DE Tanos MBX Shoporder. They were not able to find my order, but did ask for the order number. The next reply was that the number I provided was not a Tanos number and asked where I placed the order.

I've always had good service from Sys Tim, but I'm going to hold off until I hear something better from Tanos.

Sending out dirty product which was sold as new is just questionable.

New product - especially spare parts like this - can be "dirty when new" as can be seen on your photo. There are no scratches so it was clearly never used/installed.

I am not saying this is desirable, but those are spare parts with about 20 yrs service lives, so it is normal they stay for a coupe years in a warehouse bin. Not that many people buy custom catches to begin. In Europe I know of one (1) store casually selling these at retail.

There is no individual (retail) packaging for the catches, so after some time in a warehouse they can get dusty. Not much can be done here, except a better warehouse that has air filters, preventing dust buildup. These are sold (by TANOS) purely as bulk at the moment, hence the "issue". Even in production/custom builds, I presume no one cares, as the back sides are hidden after installation.

Hi Gang - let me jump in and go over the feedback.

This week we worked on domain name transfers.  There is a problem right now, systainerus.com is not forwarding.  Our German IT team is aware, but it may be a bit before resolved.

In the long term all things will live at Systainer.Store and that is the change we made this morning and are working through DNS, system configs, etc.  Systainer USA is the brand, the domain name is https://systainer.store/. A bit of a story, but we are proud to move forward with the domain name.

[member=67413]box185[/member] I am VERY sorry for this.  There are multiple mix ups here and of course I want to make this right with you.

First mixup, emails have gone hey wire, to say the least.  Emails on Systainer USA started going to Tanos Germany.  We can't explain it fully.  Always know that you can reach me at tim[member=68900]Systainer.Store[/member].  We think we fixed a couple things this morning related to this.

Next, I'm sorry about the dusty/dirty product.  They are new, I am assured of that, but no one likes to receive new items that are dusty.  We must do better.  Some of these catches have been in storage for a while and clearly accumulated dust, though rather odd on a catch to get it on the backside.  I'd love to figure this out.  I'll make our team aware that is packaging orders.  If you want replacements, get with me and I'll send them your way.

Thank you [member=61254]mino[/member] for providing context.

Yes, we buy in bulk and store in our warehouse.  We have measures in place to limit dust on our products, and to clean products before sent.  We must do better.  I can't explain how these particular catches got so dirty just yet.

I was wondering if the transition happened completely. Two days ago, I went to systainerus and it didn't work. Then went to systainer.store and found the systainerus style webpages for ordering Systainers. Hope it goes smoothly.

And I have been concerned that Sys_Tim has not been in the recent YouTube videos.
