hello . i am looking for a scource of systainers to put some of my no festool stuff in . i was woundering if there was a scource similar to systainer world or my systainer, these are in the us and no good to me i think. is there a scource in the uk or near(not to dear to ship from)

also there is a multimaster insert for a systainer on one of these sites in the us . is there a scource in the uk.

Alan,

The systainers are made by Tanos in Germany. The Festool ones are obviously available in the UK from Festool dealers. The Tanos ones have also started to appear more recently. There are a few places that distribute them, just do a search for 'tanos systainer' on Google.

Alternatively, try eBay, they come up fairly regularly.

Same goes for the multimaster insert. Here's one.

Hello Alan,

Contact Craig Poynton he is a Tanos dealer in UK.

ive always just got festool systainers , if you shop about you can pick them up cheap enough, anglia tool centre and powertool world.

i got my mm insert from bunysbolts [smile]

i was going to buy festool systainers (unless there was a good saving by buying tanos). i only wanted a scource of inerts etc but might be tempted on the systainers aswell.

^ im sure caseline had an online price list? cant find one now,, iirc a sys 4 was £44, so i got a festool one from anglia for £38

You don't have to pay list I got mine for less, although it was 7 maxi's and extra bits .

Tried Anglia,
They really let me and themselves down they sent the order a week late and to the wrong address and then left them with a neighbor after that I don't know where. It took 3 calls to get my money back so I don't use them anymore.

I have never found anywhere cheaper for on line purchases.

They are just down the road from me  [big grin]

They do seem to be the cheapest, that's why I ordered some stuff from them a few months ago. Unfortunately in my case, the service was absolutely abysmal. In brief:

They showed several items as being in stock when they weren't;
They failed to tell me they weren't in stock until I contacted them several days later to find out where my stuff was;
They then promised me a delivery date which they then failed to meet;
They failed to tell me that their promised delivery wasn't going to arrive when they said it would, until I rang them again;
They then told me the stuff was still in Germany & would be another week;
When I complained & told them I wanted to cancel, they suddenly 'discovered' that they could supply me the stuff next day;
I eventually got my stuff 2 weeks after placing the order.

To add insult to injury, a few days later they e-mailed me to ask me for any "feedback I might have on their general service" (presumably an automated e-mail). I wrote a long reply detailing what had gone on, and pointed out the problems I'd had. Within minutes of sending the e-mail, I got an error message back saying it was undeliverable. I tried again, same result. I then forwarded the e-mail to a second address I got from the website. Same result.

Finally, I used the contact form on the website to tell them I was having issues with the addresses I had, and could they e-mail me back from an address that worked. Surprise surprise, I heard nothing.

Cool - could you pop in & tell them that they've got a very unhappy customer here. I'd tell them myself, but I'm sick of trying...
