I had the opportunity to design and CNC my own insert for a Systainer 4 to hold my hand tools for going on site. Holds a variety of tools including a 24 piece Socket set. I will be modifying it, the next time I can cut another, as I have other tools I need to add for my use. I am sharing these files. If you have access to a CNC, feel free to modify these as they work for you and please share your images.

I used 1/4" MDF for the build and turned my own handle, but a regular dowel handle can be used.

A link of the parts in DXF are available at:

That is well designed.  [thumbs up]  (and I speak as one who has designed and built many systainer inserts)

Thanks for sharing it with us.

Thats the next thing on my organization list. I have a sys4 thats a shambles and its bugging me to bits.

Very nice! Good job on that one...
You are depressing those of us without access to a CNC  ;D

Nice job, anthonyz!

BTW, are those the free Harbor Freight screwdrivers in there? If so they sure aren't bad for the price!

I know this thread is really old, but does anyone still have the dxf files available? The link seems broken/outdated
