Slick idea!  How are the T-Locs attached?

Seth

The construction of the block is 6 mm ply laminated to 19mm birch for the lock section. The tloc is attached with a 1/2" hole with a counterbore from the back side to the thickness of the tang to the pivot surface of the tloc. That was it "clicks" in.

great idea
. I think festool or one of the after market guys should make these.

I think you should be banned (or at least severe retraining ) for not making the t locs festool green

I did something similar with the foam cradles that held my 118" rail in the packaging.  I taped the foam to aluminum j-hooks that I made from aluminum flat stock and hung them from my suspended ceiling.

Just curious ... Why not make it with a functioning T-Loc at the bottom ?

while you're at it - simplitying this good idea: how about a single t-loc? the guide rail is not going anywhere once it stands on edge :)

Is that an after-market sleeve on the vac hose?

It's 1.25" PET cable sleeve from cableorganizer.com I also just put on some heat shrink on the ends.
