Tall Bookcase project

Latest project complete today.
Two large bookcases each side of window with tied top shelf and crown moulding.
Made a little feature of the plinth with four "hidden" drawers fitted with double extension slides and push latches.
In same home we were asked to form a window seat with storage under and decided to hide access for that as well with piano hinge in skirting.
We sprayed the cases in the workshop. Colour is "eating room red". With the brass bookcase strips it's quite striking.
I hope to get pics when painter (client) finishes the skirting and window seat with soft furnishings etc.
Client is stocking up with books this weekend and asked for 12 shells for each case!...that's a lot of books!

Photos aren't so great so thought I'd add a few from the build.
You can see the face frame is a 3 groove design we made to match another piece the client has in the same room.
The skirting and mouldings etc all had to be made from scratch as its a large period house situated at the foot of Stirling Castle. The skirting is around 225mm tall.
