Tambour router bit

I watched this video before I posted my inquiry -

After further thoughts, I ended up buying the set because its set price is now reduced and after the signup 10% discount, the total cost was $161 US (free UPS 2-day delivery). Since it does not require spending in time or money on canvas or coated wire, I decided to go with this.

Here is another option. It is not economical, but it makes a nice locking tambour.

Lonnie Bird Tambour Bits
That set looks really nice. Never seen one like that before.

No experience with that particular set but I do have a Lonnie Bird divided light door set and it is very well made.  Believe it is manufactured by CMT.

The Lonnie Bird set sounds very nice.  I'm curious though, why does it include a roundover bit?  I watched the video and he never explained that part.  Maybe you roundover the "pin" after cutting the one piece into two?  Enlightment is welcomed.  :)

He talked about the round over when he described the steps. round over the edges opposite to the pin otherwise the edges will eventually break. @ 30 secs into the video.

I ordered the Tambour bit set, but it did not arrive after the expected delivery date. The courier tracking system was not able to confirm its delivery at all.

But ToolsToday was very responsive, and its customer service responded on the same day I sent my "distress" signal, and had the replacement set speed-delivered to my designated location the next afternoon.

The Tambour door project is scheduled for the summer/early fall.
